Engage Kiss looks like your average romantic comedy for most of its trailer, but the ending shows more than that. We are on a floating island and demons are trying to kill us.
Not much is known about this original anime, but I’m looking forward to learning more about it. The art style looks good and the demons look interesting.
There is a scene in the trailer that looks like a man turning into a demon. Engage will be released on July 3, 2022, but hopefully we won’t have long to wait for more details.

What do we know so far about the story of Engage Kiss?
Engage Kiss takes place in Baylong City, an artificial island that floats above the Pacific Ocean, to independently collect a new natural resource called orgonium.
But this freedom turns into a curse when an outburst of demons (aka D-disasters) spreads across the city. Our main character is Shu Ogata.
He currently runs a small Private Military Company (PMC) with a demon girl named Kisara. Unfortunately, the success of their PMC is difficult to determine because Shu spends most of his money on daily groceries.
Kisara’s true identity is not well known to the masses, but she has strong feelings for Shu. Judging by the trailer, Shu feels the same, but Kisara doesn’t like it when other women approach Shu.
This is hilarious as we meet Ayano Yugiri, Shu’s ex-girlfriend and the daughter of the owner of the large PMC where Shu worked before becoming independent. Did their relationship have anything to do with Shu’s new case?
The third lead actress is a nun named Sharon Holygrail. It is unknown if Sharon will develop romantic feelings for Shu, but we do know that the order she works for is the largest exorcist organization in the world.
Aniplix made Engage Kiss, and A-1 Pictures brings this anime to life. Tomoya Tanaka is the director, Fumiaki Maruto is the writer and Yoshiaki Fujisawa is responsible for the music.
Soma Saito is the voice of Shu, Saya Aizawa is Kisara, Lynn is Ayano and Rumi Okubo is Sharon. It is not yet known how many episodes there will be.

Engage Kiss has a video game
According to the official wiki, Engage Kiss is part of a project called Project Engage and will have a mobile game called Engage Kill. Square Enix produces it, and the main character is a young girl named Chloe Tan, who plays Arisa Kori.
Is Engage Kill going to be a romantic comedy or something else? The official website for Engage Kiss states that Chloe will be in charge of Yusa Kari.
Will the game come out at the same time as the anime? Are we going to play Engage Kill on consoles or PC? On December 6, 2021, Square Enix was trademarked Engage Kill and Capcom was trademarked Shu.
Does this mean that Engage Kill is a companion story rather than a sequel/prequel? Hopefully we’ll find out before summer hits.
