The Dropkick on my devil! Season 3 anime, called Dropkick on My Devil! X, will premiere in July 2022.

On May 7, 2022, singer Halca tweeted to her fans that she will be singing the new season’s opening theme song Are Kore Drastic feat. Aina Suzuki. Her fans are looking forward to the new song. This makes halca the “official” artist of the theme song for Dropkick on My Devil.

Dropkick on my devil! is an anime adaptation by Studio Nomad. The manga that inspired it has the same name and was written and illustrated by Yukiwo. In April 2012, the manga began serialization in Flex Comic’s Comic Meteor web magazine. As of December 2021, 18 volumes have been released.

On July 10, 2018 Dropkick on My Devil! anime aired on BS-Fuji TV and lasted 11 episodes until September 17, 2018. Amazon Prime Video has a special unaired episode 12 available for streaming. Episode 12 is also available with the second Blu-ray and DVD volume.

A second season titled Dropkick on My Devil! Dash aired on April 6, 2020. The second season was also streamed on Crunchyroll in Spring 2020.

Fans came together to make sure Dropkick on My Devil got two more seasons

The production of Dropkick on My Devil! X was helped by contributions from four cities in Japan. Donations have been obtained through the “Hometown Tax” system, where people from Japan can donate through the system to specific cities to help various projects (such as animes) come to fruition with the incentive that when the project starts, they will receive a special item related to the project (such as a bookmark, stuffed animal, etc.). The city of Hokkaido has raised 184 million yen (1.7 million US) for the second season of Dropkick on My Devil!

The story takes place in a world full of demons, angels and other aliens. Things get complicated when a human witch named Yurine Hanazone summons a lamia “snake demon” from Hell. Unable to find a way back to Hell, Jashin, the lamia, angrily spends her days trying to kill Yurine with a fierce drop kick to force her to send her back home.

In a fit of rage, Jashin also writes Yurine’s name down in a black book, which she calls her “NOT DEAD”. Yurine and Jashin encounter various creatures from heaven and hell during their antics, including someone named Pino, who possesses a dangerous weapon.
