DJ Mighty Mouse had an aortic aneurysm.
While announcing his death, Defected Records stated that DJ Mighty Mouse had an aortic aneurysm, which ultimately led to his death. According to the statement, he was at home at the time of his death, indicating he was not in the hospital.
An aortic aneurysm is a bulge that develops in the walls of a large blood artery that carries blood from the heart to the body. Aortic aneurysms are classified into two types: abdominal aortic aneurysms and thoracic aortic aneurysms. The former happens in the part of the aorta that runs through the abdomen, while the latter happens in the part of the aorta that runs through the chest cavity.
The disease increases the chances of a tear developing in the inner layer of the aortic wall. The risks of this condition can be lowered by monitoring blood pressure and cholesterol levels and quitting smoking. DJ Mighty Mouse’s medical history is currently missing, so it’s unknown how long he suffered from this condition.
