Date A Live 4 Synopsis

A gigantic “spatial earthquake” – phenomena with space vibrations of unknown origin. This devastated the Eurasian continent thirty years ago.

About 150 million people died as a result. Since then, these quakes have struck the planet more regularly but on a smaller scale.

Shidou Itsuka turns out to be an ordinary high school student who lives with his younger sister Kotori.

He tries to help her when an impending spatial earthquake threatens the stability of Tengu City, but is caught in the ensuing explosion.

He also finds a fascinating girl near the source of the earthquake, who turns out to be a “Spirit”, an alien creature whose arrival causes a spatial earthquake.

Soon after, he becomes entangled in a battle between both the girl and the Anti-Spirit Team, a vicious assault squad committed to the abolition of Spirits.

However, there is a third party that believes in saving the ghosts: “Ratatoskr”, who is strangely led by Shidou’s younger sister!

After the fight, Kotori vigorously joins Shidou and offers him an alternative approach to dealing with the threat of the Spirits: make them fall in love with him. Now in search of ghosts to captivate, the fate of the universe depends on his ability to court.
