CSIRO chief scientist Bronwyn Fox is one of five brilliant people to headline the Something Digital technology conference in Brisbane
All week long Something partyQueensland’s digital, innovation and technology festival, is back and kicks off on August 26 with the SomethingQ event, which puts the spotlight on all things Queensland.
That will be followed by the two-day conference, Something digital (SD), now in its 6th year, on August 29-30.
Something Fest 2023 offers a series of events and activations that will take attendees on a journey through the digital, innovation and tech ecosystems.
This year’s theme is ‘Interconnections’ and the program includes two stages, 100 speakers, a series of masterclasses, endless networking and an unparalleled tribe of digital legends.
Something Digital aims to inspire, build capabilities and celebrate the incredible stories that come from our backyard.
Last yearThe program’s international speakers included Brad MacDonald of The Exploratorium, Sumner Norman of Caltech and Jess Northam of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
The 2023 headliners include local and international experts, who will appear on the SD stage in person.
Their goal is to share their thought-provoking work, concepts, and technologies that help us think differently about the digital future.
