Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao was born in Cojimar, Havana, Cuba, on March 3, 1997 – her zodiac sign is Pisces and she holds both American and Cuban nationality. She is a singer and songwriterwho gained recognition after joining the American girl group Fifth Harmony formed in 2012 through the reality television music competition show “The X Factor”.

Early life and education

Camila grew up with her younger sister Sofia in Havana and Mexico City, by their father Alejandro Cabello, who is Mexican, and their mother Sinuhe Estrabao, who is Cuban – the family often traveled between Mexico City and Havana, until they age five Camila settled in Miami, Florida with her motherwhile her father joined them a year and a half later because he couldn’t get his visa.

Camila became a US citizen in 2008.

She attended Miami Palmetto High School but dropped out during her senior year to focus on her singing career, but later received her high school diploma.

In 2012, Camila decided to participate in the music competition show “The X Factor”, and was called back on stage after she was eliminated, when Simon Cowell decided to help her, Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui formed their band Fifth on.
