The remake of our lives! In the season 2 anime TV series, Kyouya Hashiba once again jumps back in time to restore his friends’ future. But when will Bokutachi no Remake season 2 come out?

The first season of the anime television series was produced by Animation Studio Feel, which of late is best known for Dagashi Kashi Season 1, Hinamatsuri, Dropout Idol Fruit Tart, and Oregairu 3: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax!

In 2021, Studio Feel will also release the isekai anime The Evolution Fruit: Conquering Life Unknowingly, which is based on a light novel series in which God transported an entire school into a fantasy world.

The remake of our lives! anime project was led by director Tomoki Kobayashi, who is known for directing Akame ga Kill! and Infinite Dendrogram in the past.

Writer Nachi Kio is not only the original creator, he wrote the series composition for the anime series. This wasn’t his first anime project since he was the anime writer for Circlet Princess, The Fruit of Grisaia, and Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue.

Artist Kousuke Kawamura (Frame Arms Girl, Island) was the character designer. Elements Garden (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime), or Seima Kondo and Yusuke Takeda provided the music.

The remake of our lives! Season 2 OP (opening) and ED (ending) theme song music has not yet been announced.

For the first season, the Remake Our Life! OP “Starting From Now, It Won’t Become a Song” was performed by Poppin Party, while the ED “Possibility” was performed by Argonavis.

The first season of Remake Our Life! anime streamed with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and VRV (not Netflix US, FUNimation or Hulu). The first episode was released as a one-hour (46-minute runtime) special.

Crunchyroll’s Remake of Our Lives! The release date of the English dub has not yet been announced.

Make our life again! Episode 6.5 was a recap of the episode released on August 14, 2021.

The Season One finale, Remake Our Life! Episode 12, was released on September 25, 2021. The first season was released in two Blu-ray/DVD volumes, with Volume 1 released on December 22, 2021.

This article contains everything that is known about Remake Our Life! Season 2 (Bokurema Season 2/Bokutachi no Remake Season 2) and all related news. As such, this article will be updated over time with news, rumors and analysis. In the meantime, let’s get into what is known for sure.

Bokutachi no Remake Season 2 Release Date Predictions

As of the last update, Studio Feel, or any other company involved in the production of the anime, has released the Remake Our Life! Season 2 release date. Nor has the production of a Bokurema Season 2 sequel been announced.

Once the news is officially confirmed, this article will be updated with the relevant information.

In the meantime, it’s possible to speculate about when and whether the Bokutachi no Remake Season 2 release date will take place in the future.

The remake of our lives! reviews were mostly positive with scores slightly above average for this type of story. On the negative side, during the Summer 2021 season, the anime seemed to be quite low on Crunchyroll’s popular anime list, rarely making it into the top 20.

The official website and Twitter accounts gave no indication that a second season was in the works. Rather than discussing season 2 hopes, the original author has, Nachi Kio, tweeted that fans could continue the story by reading the light novels or manga. This type of spur is common regardless of whether an anime will continue or not, but so far there is no indication that the anime will continue the story.

As of April 2022, it seems unlikely that the anime production committee Remake Our Life! renewed for a second season.

Make our life again! manga/light novel series compared to the anime

The story for the anime is based on the Remake Our Life! light novel series by Nachi Kio and illustrator Eretto. Published by MF Bunko J since March 2017, the books are from July 21, 2021 to Volume 9.

In 2019, the original author launched a spin-off series called Bokutachi no Remake β. The story completely ignores the premise of the time jump and instead Kyouya struggles with Eiko Kawasegawa in the video game industry. The spin-off book series ran through part 3 from April 2021.

The original creator also teamed up with manga artist Bonjin Hirameki in 2018 to create the Remake Our Life! manga adaptation. Serialized in Kodansha’s Suiyobi no Sirius magazine since November 2018, the manga ended on April 4, 2022. The manga is expected to be collected in a total of seven volumes (Part 6 was released in October 2021).

Unfortunately, no official English translation for North America has yet been announced for the original light novel series, the spin-off books, or the manga.

Typically when an anime adapts a light novel series, the dialogue and plot points are condensed so that 3 to 5 books can be squeezed into a single cour made up of 12 episodes. The original author was involved in the production, so the anime managed to streamline the story while keeping the heart of the light novels. It even managed to expand the characterization while cutting back in certain areas!

While it’s worth noting that the first episode was an hour-long special, fans of the light novel series really noticed how the opening of the anime greatly expanded Kyouya’s character by showing his hard work ethic before the time jump. While that looks like anime-original material, it’s actually based on the prologue for the spin-off, as it showed what happened to Kyouya if he didn’t make the time jump.

Due to this change, when Kyouya encounters Eiko Kawasegawa in the past, he starts calling her Chief in the anime. For example, the introduction of the character and Kyouya’s treatment of her were changed to reflect these timeline differences.

About the way Kyouya treated women, the anime greatly downplayed the romantic subplots by skipping a lot of dialogue. Since romance doesn’t really become relevant until later books, it made sense for the anime to focus on other plot elements with its limited running time.

All in all, the finale of the first season, Bokutachi no Remake Episode 12, found a stopping point that corresponds to the light novel Volume 4.

It was the best stopping point since that book (and manga chapter 26) introduced the big plot twist that Kyouya managed to achieve a relatively happy future for himself at the expense of his friends, including his wife Shinoaki, who was no longer considered the platinum. Generation of creators. So he tried again for a really happy ending, albeit in the future. Without this plot twist and resulting conflict, the ending of the anime would have lacked solid plot resolution.

At the same time, it was surprising that the anime ended with a cliffhanger ending. Stopping abruptly after Kyouya confronts Tsurayuki is such a tease, as the second season wasn’t immediately announced… which could be interpreted as a “go read the light novels” ending.

The good news is that there is plenty of source material to make Remake Our Life! Season 2. Light novel readers who want to read prior to the anime can jump to Volume 5.

The bad news is that only English-language fans who want to read ahead of the anime series will have to wait for an international publisher to license the series.

Manga readers will also have to wait for more chapters to appear before continuing their reading. From Remake Our Lives! Chapter 30 the manga was only caught up in the first half of episode 11.

Bokurema Season 2 anime spoilers (plot summary/synopsis)

Kyouya’s mission is to regain the original future of the three friends who became the Platinum Generation before he messes with the timeline with his time jump. This time, Kyouya comes back from 11 years in the future to recreate their lives.

To increase Shinoaki’s motivation to create as an artist, Kyouya Minori approaches Ayaka (Saikawa), the artist who would later become a genius but is now just a junior in the art department.

Another problem is that Tsurayuki Rokuonji dropped out of college. To save him from a bleak future, Kyoya and Nanako Kogure decide to go to Kawagoe, where Tsurayuki’s parents’ house is.

There will also be a school festival and the art club decides to organize a cosplay cafe. Then somehow Kawasegawa gets involved?!

Plus, there’s the lingering mystery of the pink-haired loli Keiko Tomioka. Does she know about Kyouya’s time travel?

What kind of results will Kyouya’s determination and decisions amid romantic comedy developments involving the heroines bring to everyone around him?

Unfortunately, anime fans will have to wait for the Remake Our Life! Season 2 release date to see what happens next. Stay tuned!
