After a contract extension with SiriusXM and disputes over his payments, he returned to television and became a judge on the seventh season of “America’s Got Talent”.
He continued his work for the next three seasons before leaving the show. In 2015, he teamed up with Whalerock Industries on a digital services project that would offer both free and subscription-based programming. He also signed a new contract with Sirius that year, extending his work with them until 2020.
