Arlo’s new Pro 5S 2K camera pairs well with its new home security system

The complete security system comes with a keypad that doubles as a motion sensor and communicates wirelessly with impressive all-in-one sensor units that detect open doors and windows, movement, water leaks, light, temperature changes and can listen for smoke and CO alarms.

The Home Security System comes with a 30-day trial of Arlo’s Secure Plus service at $14.99 per month, which offers features such as 24/7 emergency support and unlimited cloud video recording. After the trial period you can: choose one of the three plans to continue using it. According to Arlo’s press releases, the new app will be available “end of November 2022”.
The Pro 5S 2K camera can also be controlled via Google Assistant and IFTTT, with support for Amazon’s Alexa “coming soon”. And according to Arlo SVP of product Tim Johnston, Apple HomeKit compatibility for the camera is coming “early 2023,” which is great. since the previous Pro 4 also supports this.
