Aoashi anime story synopsis

Ashito Aoi is a high school student from Ehime who is the top of a mediocre soccer team.

Ashito runs down the coast in horror after losing the high school championship tournament, only to run into a man who had been following his game.

Tatsuya Fukuda is the coach of a prominent J-League team, “Tokyo City Esperion FC”, which also has a high school youth team.

He outlines his goal after discovering great potential in Ashito’s still limitless talents.

“I want to form a team and use that to conquer the world. Our club will not be a turning point for players looking to conquer the world. That’s why our club will be the best in the world. I do need ‘aces’ to train to make this possible.”

Afterwards, Ashito accepts Fukuda’s offer and travels to Tokyo to test out his club.

Aoashi is considered one of the most innovative football manga series and now it’s getting a TV anime adaptation!

Everything that belongs to youth is here: loss, progress and camaraderie.
