Isekai Quartet: Another World movie released a new trailer, and it looks cute! While most of the plot is still unknown, a wormhole appears in the classroom and the group can now travel to another world.

The name of the world is still a secret, but we have original characters to theorize about. Will our favorite world-hopping characters return to school?

What role will the new characters play and which hijinx will appear in the film and the third season? Which Isekai will make it to the Quartet universe?

What do we know about the movie Isekai Quartet: Another World?

The release date of the Isekai Quartet: Another World movie in Japan has been officially confirmed as June 10, 2022, early summer 2022. And some of the featured TV shows will release TV sequels in 2022.

Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 3 release date will be relatively soon. Re:Zero Season 3 seems very likely as the producer has already openly discussed the third season. KonoSuba Season 3 seems very likely as a new anime project has been confirmed.

The Overlord Season 4 release date is in 2022 alongside a new Overlord movie. Likewise, production of The Saga Of Tanya The Evil Season 2 was also announced in 2021.

We don’t know what the world of the movie Isekai Quartet is called, but a giant golem rules it. Many fans believe that the golem is from Overlord!

We also meet three brand new characters, all of whom are very mysterious and seem to have connections to our leading group. Their names are Pantagruel, a golem girl with a similar personality to Megumin; Vera Mitrohina, a young soldier who wears the same uniform as Tany; and Alec, who has a walking stick and knows Subaru.

Will they be friends or enemies? Shall we meet them in season 3 too? The film is written and directed by Minoru Ashina at Studio Puyukai, and Ruka Kawada will create the music.

Do you have to watch the original anime to understand the events of the Isekai Quartet?

No and yes. Despite being done in a chibi style and Kadokawa producing all the titles. That is why Isekai Quartet is not a canon. It’s an adorable comedy that shows what happens when our favorite characters from other worlds are trapped in a high school.

Each episode contains Easter eggs and references to their original titles and can spoil events in future seasons of their shows. Naofumi, for example, is a student and he still has trust issues in Quartet.

Each episode lasts about ten minutes and there are only 24 episodes. So if season 3 of Isekai Quartet follows the same pattern, it should have another 12 episodes.

I think the title is a joke because Quartet means four or a group of four, and with Season 2 we get two more! KonoSuba: God’s Blessings on this Wonderful World, Overlord, Re: Zero-Starting Life in Another World, Saga of Tanya the Evil, The Rising of the Shield Hero and Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered, but Overly Cautious are the titles that make up the current Isekai Quartet.
