A Nintendo Direct Mini is coming today

Another Nintendo Direct, albeit a mini, is coming today, Nintendo announced in a tweet.

Today, June 28, a new Nintendo Direct is coming. But don’t expect updates on Breath of the Wild 2 or other major Nintendo titles.

This is another Nintendo Direct Mini and it will target third party offerings. Everything that indie and triple-A studios are cooking up for Nintendo Switch will be shown.

“A new #NintendoDirectMini: Partner Showcase is coming!” Nintendo said in a tweet† “Watch on-demand via our YouTube channel starting Tuesday, June 28 at 6:00 AM PDT for approximately 25 minutes of information about upcoming #NintendoSwitch third-party games.”

That’s 11pm AEST, so you’ll have to stay up late if you want to see the showcase.

People are hoping for everything from a GoldenEye remaster to Persona ports. Whether they will get their wish or not remains to be seen.
