As a young man taking on a parenting role after a traumatic loss, Ichirou does his best to provide for his family and devotes himself to working as a manga artist. But to meet his deadlines, Ichirou looks for an assistant. And his wishes are granted as soon as he gets a call from his editor.

When he goes to town to pick up his new assistant, he is surprised to learn that she is a beautiful and mysterious woman, Goshiki Shiori. After Ichirou invites her to call him by his first name instead of his pseudonym, Momotea, Ichirou brings Shiori back to his home studio where he keeps her updated on his work.

Although Shiori has never worked as an assistant before, she quickly impresses Ichirou with her fast and talented work. He is happy that his deadlines can be easily met. But when his siblings come home from school, they are more intrigued by the potential for a future relationship between the two artists.

Though the two are aloof at first, they bond as they work together. Does it remain strictly as a business relationship? Or do Ichirou and Shiori connect on a deeper level? Fans will have to wait for the anime to be seen!
